Image  All of us may not be up-to-date on the details of the CSME (Caribbean Single Market & Economy), but we all have a grasp of the concept: In this globalised business environment, Caribbean countries have a better chance of economic survival as a unified unit. From a global perspective, it has been demonstrated that there is strength in numbers, and as islands with limited resources, it is prudent for us to work together.

Ayana

ImageBeauty queen, singer, dancer, chantress, actress. Feloshade Ife John (Ayana for short) has a lot on her proverbial plate. Back in ’96 and ’97, she won gold and silver medals for NIFCA, and in 2005, her looks and charismatic personality earned her the Bikini Barbados title. That same year, she was a finalist in Digicel’s Rising Stars competition, and also wrote and performed Everyone Falls on Lethal Studio’s Lal Mirchi album.

Peter Ram: Ya Dun know!

ImageHe’s a veteran Bajan performer, belting out hits long before the Bogle was the latest dance craze.  He’s arguably one of the fastest and most fluent freestylers on the island, soca’s version of rap’s Twista, known for hyping up crowds by incorporating rapid-fire freestyle chants into his live performances.  It is this hype that has taken Peter Ram to stages throughout the Caribbean region, London, New York and Canada.
